Educational drugs game to be played with people who are already exposed to possible drug use within their friendship group or community. Can be played as 'top trump' style game to generate conversations about substances. Also there are written explanation cards of effects and risks of various drugs which are to be matched with picture cards. This is a great way of learning associated risks of different substances. It can also be played by grouping the drugs cards into either their class and legal status (including possible sentencing if arrested) or their drug type (stimulant, depressant and hallucinogen) This is a great tool for teaching both young people and those working with them about substances, their effect on the user and the associated risks. To help the facilitators there are 'dummy' cards to identify all the grouping. These cards are a great way to generate conversations about a sometimes difficult subject. They are well tried and tested and have received some great feedback from young people and workers alike.
